Beatie Wolfe has something to prove — to herself, perhaps, but to all of us — about the way music moves us and about how the way we experience it matters. She’s not content to make music and release it the way everyone else does; her releases are events, whether live streaming from the world’s most silent room or turning a song into a jacket or a set of cards. We sat down to talk about what drives her to go to such lengths, and why it’s important that you never pay her a compliment.
